I tried the Earthies Ensenada in the black calf, unsuccessfully. I have a slightly wide foot, but wear shoes in a medium width. Yet this shoe was tight, both at the toe and the instep. I do not have a high instep. Also, I wear an 8.5 or 9 shoe, ordered the 9, and they are too short. I squeezed my toes into the too narrow toe area, reached the front of the shoe, and could only barely zip up the back zipper on the shoe. From my experience, this shoe is a half size short, but these are my first Earthies brand. I couldn't appreciate the arch support because the arch of the shoe was too far forward for my foot. Basically nothing about this shoe works for me, and I returned them.To those considering a purchase, I call attention to the shape of the toe area; it is pointed. My feet are a bit more square at the toe.

This is a lovely, classy pump. It is hard to answerthe "true to fit" questions, as I have lots of troublefinding shoes to fit. I wear a size 5 medium width, but like lots of room for my toes and narrow through the rest of the shoe. I do not wear heels very often. This height is as high as I'd go, and like that the heel base is a bit broader.This shoe fits my right foot perfectly; need a pad in the front of the left shoe to "push" my foot back some.Love the one open side look - sexy.

I probably should have sent these back. The medium width is quite wide. Hope I can keep them on. Maybe a partial insole will help.

Really great looking shoes. Since it's still cold where I live I have not worn them yet, probably will in March if warm enough. Felt a tad loose, but that may be due to cold weather. Think in hot weather they will feel snugger. Will look great with many different outfits. Looking forward to wearing them. Glad I got them.
