Motorcycle shoes are shoes that tend to have a shorter heel than other shoes, in order to allow a motorcycle rider to keep control on the bike. Motorcycle shoes are generally made from heavy leather and may include metal, plastic and/or composite materials to protect the rider's feet in case of an accident while riding. Motorcycle shoes may also include styles with design inspired by the motorcycling culture in aesthetics and not intended for the activity.

The boots appear to be of very good quality.I have one complaint, the left one fits a bit loose (maybe half size bigger)consequently I have to wear THICK socks to keep the boot from slipping. Conversely, the left boot is harder to remove, all things being equal (go figure). The right boot is fine. I have not experienced such a big difference in a pair of shoes or boots before. I would recommend the boots. They feel great when I riding my bkie.
