Have been buying work boots for over 40 years. This is the first review I have ever felt compelled to write. My wider than usual foot has always been difficult to accommodate. These boots have proven to be the absolutely most comfortable ever worn, PLUS, lower back pain that has plagued me for the past 5 years seems to have magically gone away. yahoo !

I bought this shoe because it came in wide. I live in a snowy place and the sole has good traction, so I've worn it almost every day this winter. It has held up well. When it first arrived, it was really tight and difficult to get on, but once I got it on, it was comfortable. It is much easier to get on now, but it has stayed snug; which is good for a slip-on. There is a little U-shaped "comfort gel" in the heel of the footbed; I could take it or leave it. If you don't like it, the footbed slips out, so you could insert a Dr. Scholl's insole.

Basic leather slip-on shoe. Nice enough for a suit, basic enough for jeans. Leather was supple, but strong. Shoe well-crafted. Quality overall was good. One flaw in the leather near the sole (color looked scuffed off some), so I gave the shoe a 4 instead of a five. I got it at a great price, so no complaints.
