Nunn Bush Macallister Nice, but the gel insert kills your heel

The title says it all. The shoe looks great (albeit darker than in the photos) and fits well as far as length and width are concerned. The problem, however, is with the horseshoe-shaped gel insert in the heel of the shoe. The first 3-4 times you wear the shoe, it completely destroys the bottom of your heel. I couldn't wear the shoe for more than 4-6 hours at a time until the gel insert became broken-in. Now, however, the shoe is fairly comfortable and I've received several compliments on how attractive they are.

I love the fact that the laces allow me to fit these to my feet. They are a little high on the sides for me as my ankles swell, but an insert will life my foot. I am hard to fit and to please, but these did it.

Drew Iris Comfortable-adjustable

The design of this shoe is classic and comfortable. The leather strap that goes over the top of the foot is adjustable which is great if you want to make it looser or tighter. The pewter color is neutral enough that it will go with anything.

The Drew Helia is really a comfortable shoe. I have many lower body problems & this shoe has helped tremendously with all the pain. I have 3 pairs of these now in different colors & truly love them.

Drew Elite Stiff like all Drews

I bought this to get a sneaker that didn't look like a sneaker, and would be good for walking in Europe. But it has a stiff upper that is not at all comfortable for distance walking. I have ordered three other Drew shoes and they all have this problem. You would think that shoes designed for people with foot problems would be more comfortable.
