We had a two foot snowstorm right after they came so they got a good workout. I like that they are high enough so the snow does not get inside and my feet stayed nice and warm, which was what I was looking for. The actual foot portion is quite stiff, but I think that's the nature of the material. I think they look amazing and will last forever if cared for.
