Heels are shoes featuring an incline on the heel. Heels could be a separate piece from the outsole or a wedge heel that runs the entire length of the outsole. The heel provides elevation and can be found in many different shapes, including block, tapered, blade, and wedge. Heels can also be many different heights such as kitten heel, stilleto heel, low heel, mid heel or high heel.
About High Heel:

High heel shoes are generally limited to women's footwear and come in a variety of styles and designs. The heels on high heels shoes are also found in many different shapes, including stiletto, block, tapered, blade, and wedge.

These shoes run narrow, but this seems to be consistent with other J. Renee shoes too. These shoes are spectacular. Nice slim heel, rubber sole, and very well constructed. Looks like these are going to hold up well over time. Much more exciting than J. Renee shoes that I have purchased in the past.

Have worn it once so far and found it comfortable and attractive. The heel is a good height and a good width and the shoe suits me at work and on the town.

I love comfortable shoes and often wear Naturalizers and Borns. This is perfect for the holiday season; it's comfortable without looking casual or sacrificing style. This works nicely with both dresses and slacks and was comfortable in all-day work wear. However, I started the day wearing knee-highs, but had to remove them when my feet started to slip out of the true-to-size shoe. They fit fine in bare feet (although I taped the inside of one foot when it started to rub the wrong way). These were very minor fixes. I love these comfortable and pretty shoes I wish they came in candy cane red and winter white!
