Minus one star because you can't adjust the elastic "laces" to make them more snug. With wear, the tongue may become loose.I'm an adult and bought the red and black one for myself and they are classly enough for me yet cute, especially up close. Bought my normal kids size, 3, and they are true to size with room for thick socks though multiple layers of thick socks may not be work. Though I bought these for snow/slush, I haven't had a chance to wear these in those conditions but without snow in 30-40 degree F, they are toasty.
