Biker boots are boots designed originally for motorcycle riding and intended primarily for safety. Biker boots are usually crafted from heavy leathers to provide ankle support and protection against abrasion. Biker boots have also made their way into fashion, with some designs now featuring decorative details like harnesses, straps and metal buckles that give a fun and edgy touch to any wardrobe.
The word motorcycle describes a style of leather boot generally associated with bikers and the aesthetics of the motorcycling culture. Motorcycle boots are designed to provide protection. The typical motorcycle boots have long shafts and are generally made of thick, heavy leather with low heels and an adjustable leather strap or a harness across the ankle. Motorcycle boots may also include styles fashioned after the aesthetics of the motorcycle style but not necessarily intended for the activity of motorcycle riding.
Dingo Harness Nice boot, feels a little big

This is a great boot. It wears nicely, no rubbing on the feet, but it does feel a half size too big. I wear a 16 so I was suprised to find it larger rather than smaller (a nice suprise). They are very comfortable for extended wear and the soles have a nice tread so they are acceptable during winter months.

I really like these boots. I ordered them in my regular size and had to exchange them for a half-size larger; but then they fit fine.
