Knit socks are socks made using a knitting technique instead of a woven process. The knitting technique interlaces strands of yarn in a series of connected loops that creates an open and stretchable fabric that is generally breathable, soft, as well as warm. Because there is no single straight line of yarn anywhere in the pattern of the fabric, knitted socks can be easily made without seams.
