Justin Boots began as a boot repair business in 1879, repairing the boots of the cowboys who rode the Chisholm Trail. Each pair of Justin boots were custom made from a fit kit that measured the length and width of each foot. The Justin Boot company settled in Ft. Worth TX in 1925. Inspired by the need for a dress code in the Rodeo Cowboys Association (now the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association) the Justin Roper was developed from a re-design of the existing Justin Wellington.
