Diabetic shoes are footwear designed with the ability to adjust depth and/or width for ease in fit and comfort through the use of linings and moldable inserts, which allow the footwear to conform to the foot's shape. The flexibility in diabetic shoes is ideal for people with poor circulation, risks of infections, or diabetic neuropathy (a condition where nerves have gone to sleep due to the lack of oxygen).
About Hammertoes:
Hammertoes are a foot condition in which the toes buckled and bend downward in a hammer-like shape. This is usually caused by repeated bumping of the toes against the front of a shoe. Over time, the joints enlarge and stiffens generating inflammation and eventually calluses.
