Most recently, out of concern and protection towards animals, faux fur has been developed from synthetic fibers to resemble very closely natural fur and still maintains the same properties of softness and warmth.

I purchased these boots a few weeks ago based on reviews I read on various sites. I've worn them everyday while walking my dog in the freezing cold, snow, rain, slush, etc. My feet have always stayed warm and dry, which was exactly what I was looking for. The calf is a little snug but I have this problem with most boots. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a warm, waterproofwinter boot.
