Evening is a word commonly used in the footwear industry to indicate women's shoes designed for casual, formal, or special occasions in the evening. Evening footwear styles vary widely in design and color, and one may choose different types depending on the formality or informality of the attire they are meant to complement. Still, the most popular styles generally are pumps, ankle straps, and slingback sandals with medium to high heels in shinny uppers or decorated with sparkling ornaments.

Quality material and comfortable enough for everyday wear if desired. I work in emergency medicine and wore these boots to work for a 4 hour shift with the intention of hiking afterwards...well it ended up turning into 12 straight hours on my feet without a hint of discomfort. I've mucked around in them, worn them in snow/slush and the waterproofing is solid. I'm an 11.5 and these fit true to size although they seemed a bit snug on my toes the first day or two however that soon went away (maybe pressure on the toe area while boxed?) Overall very satisfied, when you spend over 90 dollars on a pair of boots you expect comfort and quality and these have delivered. As far as long term quality I can't make any statements as I've only had them about a month.

This boot is great, but I would buy a 1/2 size larger. I usually wear a 7.5 or 8. I bought an 8 and it is a little tight. These boots will definately keep your feet warm and they have great treads on the bottom.
