Engineer boots are a type of heavy duty leather boots specially designed with a high shaft to provide support and protection to the lower leg. Engineer boots are generally manufactured in heavy weight black leather, are rounded toe boots, and range in height from 10 inches to 18 inches. Engineer boots are often worn by motorcycle riders and usually feature an adjustable leather strap across the ankle as well as an adjustable leather strap at the top of the shaft to adjust the fit.

Workmanship on these Dingos is excellent, much nicer than on the much more expensive pair of Chippewas I tried and returned (to Amazon). The sole is NOT lugged as seems to be the case in some pictures, but it is plenty tough. Great motorcycle boots.
