A chunky heel is a thick, solid built heel that normally does not taper much and often resembles a stacked block. Chunky heels are generally more comfortable to wear than other heel types such stilettos and are often chosen for the added support and stability they provide on high heeled footwear. Chunky heels are available in different heights and shapes and can be found on a wide variety of shoe styles.
