Chronograph watches are designed with stopwatch functions to accurately measure several short time periods, often in fractions of a second, as well as regular time keeping. Analog chronograph watches have analog hand displays within the main dial that can be activated by buttons on the side of the watch. Digital chronograph watches usually have LCD time-keeping displays.
