I enjoy these shoes in black. They are not marvelously comfortable, but for an evening out they work just fine. In cork, nothing about them worked. There was too much rubbing in all the wrong places. I think they might even be just a little longer than in black. I took them off within 2 minutes of wearing them around the room.

Sizing: I take a 7 1/2 B in just about everything, but this sandal was just too big. While the 3-4 (can't remember which) adjustable straps should work very well to adjust to width, they couldn't compensate for the off-sizing in length. In addition, the overall styling just made me think of the kind of semi-orthopedic sandals they sell in foot-care catalogs. For me, not a flattering look at all, though another buyer may feel differently of course.

These are a very comfortable pair of dressy thongs, ideal for slipping on to get the groceries or to pick up the kids. They seem to be quite sturdy and I would definitely buy them in another colour (I bought the silvermetal).

These shoes are super comfortable. I have used them for dress up, and just walking around town. That is what I love about the patent leather and the fashionable wedge heel- you can get away with being dressed up and still being comfortable!

Ros Hommerson Magnum Pretty and comfortable

I have two pairs of the Ros Hommerson Maple style (simple ballet flat with a thin tie bow), which has been discontinued. They have always been comfortable and great for all season wear with skirts and slacks.I wanted a pair in the pewter shade. Tried the Mercy for something different than a ballet flat, but the fit was not right for me. They seemed wide (and I don't have a narrow foot) and the open toe cut a bit.So I decided to try these, since the style is similar to the Maple. They feel just as comfortable as the Maple, right out of the box. I love the look with the petal effect. Really cute. The pewter is a great neutral shade for year round wear and can be dressed up or dressed down. It's a very versatile style.
