Harness boots are a type of Western-style footwear that features a non-adjustable arrangement of leather straps around the ankle area and two metalrings, one on each side of the ankles. Originally conceived to hold in the spurs on cowboy boots, the harness is now a decorative part of the design that conveys a rugged look.
