Wedge shoes, also referred to as wedge heels or wedges, are shoes with a triangular shape heel in the form of a wedge, with the heel and sole forming a solid block. Wedge heel shoes generally raise the heel of wearer between 1" to 3" and considered to be more stable that other types of high heel shoes. I really like the style of these shoes and they go great with skirts, pants or long dresses. They are a comfortable shoe, but not enought to walk around several miles. I wished they had them in smooth leather, but the material is sturdy and they are well made. I could have used a bit more length in toe area, but hoping they will stretch a little. I am a good size 8.5M, but a size 9 would have been too long.
Wears this shoe: church, out to eat, special functions etc.
