Boots designed for horseback riding or other equestrian activities that are usually knee high and made of leather. Although they originally were designed with heels to prevent the boots from slipping out of the stirrup, modern riding boots usually have low heels. Recently the style has been used in fashion boots, which generally have no functional value, but offer a similar look and feel.

I bought these boots in the gray, and love them! They are so comfortable. The leather is soft and I like that it is a darker gray color. I have nothing but praise for these wonderful boots!

These leather boots are just what I was looking for. I only wish they had some support inside, but I can add that. There's enough room for that. Great fit overall and great quality.
Circa Joan & David Ralco Beautiful boots but much too tall

I absolutely love the look of these boots. However, the calf is narrow and I would not be able to tuck skinny jeans or leggings into them and they are VERY tall. I'm 5'1" and the boot was scrunched below my knee. If you are tall and have small calves they are wonderful boots. Unfortunately, I have to return them.
