Instrument cases are containers designed for protection and portability of musical instruments. Instrument cases are made of two parts, the outside shell for protection, and the inside of the case for support. The outside shell of the case can be soft, hard or a combination of both and can be made of many different materials but they are generally very resistant to shock and tear. The inside of the case is usually contoured and is designed to fit the instrument providing gentle compression that prevents the instrument from moving inside and maximizing shock absorption. A carrying handle and/or a shoulder strap are usually attached to instrument cases for better portability.

I work for a regional airline, so I spend a lot of time on CRJ's, Q400's, EMB-145's and such. This is the perfect carry-on for regional aircraft. You can get it in the overhead rack or under the seat and avoid gate-checking it. Then you're off and gone while everyone else is waiting for theirs to come up. It even fits in the overhead of a Brasilia. I would like to see more rigidity around the zipper, but it's fine as long as you don't overstuff it.

Although I have not used them yet, I bought 2 for our cruise. The boys love them and will be able to handle them through check in due to the handy wheels! Can't wait to see how they hold up. I'll post another review after travel.

I bought this bag out of need, but it wast really what i was looking for. the bags specs are huge - but the bag is quite small. there is only one hook for bags, which was not what I had in the past or expected from this. the pockets are ample. the quality of the bag is good and i would not expect it to fall apart on a plane trip.
