Love these boots

I thought boots like these no longer existed. I bought these to replace a pair of boots that I had since the 80's.These boots are much more comfortable than others I've tried.

The boot looked nice, nice soft leather, but looked very narrow and petite for a stocky guy like me to wear...not like a typical manly cowboy boot. The deal-killer though was when I slipped them on...the heel was diggin into my foot...very uncomfortable. Perhaps this was a defect, not sure, but back they go.

This is my first pair of these boots, but I assure you they won't be my last. They are light enough my feet don't sweat. I drive truck and I ride motorcycles and occasionally do alot of walking on my weekend runs. These boots are just what I was looking for. I will say, when in the woods hiking, or walking on large stone, it felt like I was in a pair of moccasins. There's not much for padding in the sole, but now I just wear heavier sox and that seems to work fine. I particularly like the "walking heel" that they have. Next pair I may order 1/2 size bigger and put inserts in them to add padding to the bottoms of my feet.

I started wearing the slouch boot over 30 years ago and have owned 20 pairs. I have a pair of dark brown Dingo Slouch boots that I purchased 18 years ago while living in Chicago and brought them when I relocated to Las Vegas. I am taking them in for soles and heels to be replaced. I wear the black slouch to work everyday, 5 days a week. In this time frame I have tried other brands but for the past 15 years I have only purchased Dingo Slouch. They have NEVER disappointed me. The best price I have found is through shoebuy. I have just placed an order for another pair. I believe this will be my 10th pair of Dingo boots from shoebuy.

I've purchased a number of pairs of boot over the years but have never been able to find one that was true to width or size. The toes were always too narrow and made walking difficult. These boots, however, are different. It is the best, most comfortable (soft leather) pair of boots I've ever purchased. I intend to purchase a second pair for safe keeping, just in case this brand is discontinued in the near future.
