It is rare that I find flat slip-ons to be comfortable, between foot and knee problems, but this shoe is special. I think the high vamp (compared to, say, ballet flats) helps keep it on my foot. The shoe is very flexible and lightweight, but still has padding. I only needed a smidgen of arch support to be comfortable in it all day, and it's quite comfy without any kind of hose or socks as well.I got the gold metallic one, and I'm not sure whether it is the world's most comfortable dress/dancing shoe, or a snazzy slipper with an indoor/outdoor sole!
