My Converse Work Shoes November 15, 2012

I've had Converse work shoes for years and I hope these hold up as well as the others. Two things however. One, these are definitly a heavy shoe. And two, "slip resistant" is misleading, they are a bit slippery if in an oily environment such as I work in.

I think it's a great work shoe. The only drawback was that it was not true to size. I normally wear a 9.5 and it feels like I'm wearing a 10.5. Otherwise, it's a great shoe.

I like the shoe so far but they are only a few weeks old. The red on the bottom is peeling off already. I do not understand why the color is on there to begin with. It is also made of vinyl or faux leather, a fact that should have been revealed in product description. I would not have purchased for that fact alone.

Purchased for walking a large and active dog; light-weight with good support. However, it does bind slightly at top of ankle. An excellent value.

Never tried Converse before. The appearance is very good. The boots seem to be rugged enough for my uses (heavy gardening, cutting lumber). They are marked EW but I wish they were wider. The soles have a reasonable grip but the fine spacings gather muck. Let's see how they perform over a few months. The rubber toes protect the leather uppers.

These shoes feel great, would recommend to anyone. I suffer from gout in my ankle and they don't bother it any. Feels great to walk on concrete in them all day. I have plenty of energy and less back and knee problems with these. Great buy!

I bought them for yard work, not hiking. The quality and comfort seem very good. There are minimal lugs on the sole so I don't believe a lot of dirt will accumulate. I was disappointed with the guides for the laces. The picture wasn't clear that these were not hooks which I wanted and believe they keep the laces from slipping as they are being put on.

It is very important for me to choose the right shoe. If it doesn't fit good or not comfortable it will sit on the shelve and I want ware it. I find this shoe to fit very well...a good work shoe and very comfortable. The weight was a concern for me,I thought they might be to heavy....the mfg. doesn't tell the weight any more so I had to wait until I could try them on. They are not heavy at all...I was surprised. Having been a polio victim as a child and having two operations on my feet...you can understand why I am so careful about the shoes I buy. Thank You, I will continue to buy from you

This boot is comfortable to wear all day. I work in a plant and I'm on my feet 12 hrs a day. The only thing I noticed was that the boot felt a bit narrow, so if you have flat wide feet a wider size may be suitable.
