Tearing into my ankle

Shoe Size: Felt half size larger than marked Shoe Width: Felt true to width I understand "break-in" periods of shoes, but this is downright painful. After a half-day of wearing them each step was painful. On the outsides of the boots there's very stiff leather construction that digs up into the sides of my ankles, tearing skin off. Even with an extra layer of socks and bandaids in the affected area it still hurts with every stride. Now they're worn so I can't return them, and I refuse to subject my feet to that kind of pain. Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width Have had this boot for over a year. Most shoes I wear for work have worn out on the soles in the summer from walking on hot tarmac. These have held up well. They are comfortable and breathe well. Will buy another pair of converse work boot in this style that is a bit shorter and with a side zipper soon. Wears this shoe: At work, on tarmac, in spring, summer and fall

Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width I work on concrete 8+ hours a day and after breaking my leg just above the ankle last year, I have no aching by the days end with these boots. I also wear these for motorcycle riding with no sweating issues. Light weight as stated in description and comfy beyond belief. I also have the Converse Work C8695 I use for wood cutting and just purchased the Swat 6" Sport Boot. You can't go wrong with Converse Work boots if you're on your feet all day. A+ Wears this shoe: 8+ hours a day
