As silly as it sounds, the leather under my foot is quite slick and it feels as if I am sliding in the shoe.

These are very comfortable shoes. I love Clarks and have many pairs. I needed a simple black, leather, open-toe sandal and this was exactly what I needed.

I have at least 10 pairs of Clarks. I like the fit and love the comfort. I can just put the shoes on and away I go. There is no Break-in period at all for Clarks. I even have my daughter wearing them she has been wearing for about 4-5 years and she just turned 40. So age does not matter at all because there are so many different styles.
Wears this shoe: I wear them to church, to work, and to do errands.

I loved the way these look and of course they were wearable immediately. However, they are extremely wide (and I have a wide foot) so they are hard to walk in. I would order 1/2 size down for a better fit.

I like the soft leather of the mule. The shoe is very well made as are all of Clarks shoes. I found the width to be slightly narrow, but they appear to be stretching with wear.
