The boots were purchased as a gift. The receiver wanted only Cat boots. They were a great hit and much appreciated. They felt great as soon as he put them on.

I have owned many pairs of shoe exactly like these so I knew what to expect when buying them. The main reason I bought these from ShoeBuy was the price as it was the cheapest by a good margin. I was also pleased with the return policy as well as fast shipping so my experience with Shoe Buy has been nothing but positive and I hope to be doing business with them again. As far as the shoe itself, I love the tread design as it gives excellent traction on hill and in dirt and mud yet without clogging up the treads and making them hard to clean. I wear these almost 365 days a year and they are very rugged. This is probably the 7th pair I have owned.

I love these boots. I'll start with the only negative point I could find about them. They are hotter than my previous pair of Caterpillars, the same boots but they had a shorter upper. I wanted the taller upper like these Indianas for better protection. These boots are killer. They are "tough, tough, tough". I had no problems breaking them in. They have a very rugged look, and they are indeed rugged. You can feel it when you wear them. I use these boots everyday, at work in a warehouse, on the motorcycle, and in the yard at home. This is my 3rd pair of Cats in the last 10 years. I get about 3 years out of each pair. I wore the last pair through the sole, but that's not bad for 3 years. Other brands that I've had I had to get a 10 1/2. The Cats seem to fit me a bit bigger; a 10 fits me fine.

I have been wearing this same style of Caterpillar boot for 7-8 years now. I began wearing them when I used to work construction but now I wear them simply because I can't imagine wearing another shoe. I even stuck with the steel-toe version. I don't really consider myself to have a wide foot but I found the wide version to be more comfortable. Scuffs and scratches are easily concealed with some Kiwi quick shine and these things will last you for years and hold up to all kinds of chemicals. If Caterpillar ever stops making these, I don't know what I will do. I have a pair in brown and black to go with whatever.

The shoe fit very well. I purchased this shoe for the class 75 ansi spec. required for my job. I was looking for a comfortable work shoe I can work in with my feet not hurting at no time and I found them. It gives me great pleasure to say these shoes feel as comfortable as my dress shoes. Been wearing steel toe shoes for 36 years and these are very comfortable.
