Great backpack. After 3 weeks, the zipper split. I would still purchase another one. My son is very rough on his things and may have needed a larger size.

Love My Cal Pak October 20, 2012

I purchased this Cal Pak b/c I felt that it would be very efficient to use when traveling, especially flying. I love the fact that it's large enough to fit my needs, & at the same time small enough that I can carry it on board an airplane . The fact that it rolls is just too cool b/c that really gives my back a rest yet I have the option of carrying it as a backpack if I want . See it is sooo versatile!! It's lightweight & I just absolutely love the color which makes it easily identifiable. It is very practical & well worth the money that I spent to purchase it. At this moment I can't think of of anything NEGATIVE to comment about my Cal Pak purchase or about Shoebuy b/c sooo far they've been exceptionally a good company with good products to chose from & until I'm proven different they'll continue to get my business:)!! In my book I give them 10 stars !!!

This is our second pack. Our first one served us well through much abuse for 4 years. It finally gave up the ghost in August. We promptly replaced it with more of the same. We are expecting this new one will service our needs for years to come!!

We looked everywhere in stores and online for a back to school rolling backpack for my son. There really weren't many choices. And what was available was VERY expensive. This was exactly what we were looking for and at just the right price. Good deal!

Bought this for my girls for school. It feels very sturdy and I am excited to see how it lasts after a few months of being used to walk to school. Overall good quality, good workmanship and great design. Not overly girlie or boy centric. A girlfriend liked this so much she bought some too!

This is a great rolling backpack! It's roomy, rolls smooth, and has a terrific handle. This is a sturdy backpack, but doesn't weigh a ton, and is perfect for our fifth grader. In fact, we are ordering another one for little sister today because the handle on her backpack got broken off at school last week. I would definitely recommend the CalPak Grand Stand.

Positives: Sturdy construction with extension pull up handle. The wheels are large with smooth rolling. side pouches are good for bottles and drinks. Different colors available to choose from. Negatives: 1st unit that I bought, the handle bar failed to pull out completely after about 1 month. ShoeBuy.com sent a pick up tag quickly after 1 phone call. Excellent customer service and the unit was replaced.

After receiving the CalPak Grand Stand rolling backpack, we are pleasantly pleased. The backpack is of the utmost quality. It is well worth the price we paid. The look is kid-friendly and provides relief for the 4th graders back. This product is highly recommended and I would purchase it again!
