Breezy slide sandal has double straps with individual, adjustable buckles for a custom fit.
Oiled leather upper adds style without compromising comfort. 1" shock-absorbing EVA (Ethyl Vinyl Acetate) sole.
With Birkenstock's signature cork footbed with double Jute layer for better-than-barefoot comfort. Raised toe bar, footbed form, arch support and deep heel cup with footbed liner combine to align your foot naturally for even weight distribution and proper support.

I ordered a pair to replace the exact same pair that's falling apart. Unlike some other manufacturers, Birks are the ol' reliable and the fit doesn't change from style-to-style or even sometimes shoe-to-shoe. You know exactly what you're getting. Excellent!

I have been wearing Birkenstocks for 6 years and wear nothing else. I turned to Birkenstocks because I have arthritis and bone spurs in my feet and need a firm footbed. This is my first pair of oiled leather. My others have been suede or brushed. All Birkenstocks have a break-in period for the footbed but these also need a break-in period for the straps. They are a bit stiffer (to be expected!) than the suede but I have no doubt that after the break-in period they will be fine. I love my Birkenstocks.

I love this shoe because it is so comfortable and classic hippy. I bought it in the regular width, which is plenty wide. I could have gotten away with narrow, but wide is comfy. The brown oiled leather is a great look. I wear them with pants and shorts and even some skirts. With skirts, however, they make my feet look pretty wide at the toes. Nail polish dresses them up a bit, but well, they are Birks after all. They were comfortable right out of the box and I could walk easily a mile - without socks of course. I expect to wear them a lot this spring and summer, and for years and years.
