The hat is nice, however it should have a string to go under the chin. When it is raining, the wind is usually blowing, and hard to keep the hat on.

This hat is nice looking, and it works to keep your head dry in the rain. But if the wind blows, you're in trouble because there is no under chin strap. There is, however, a cinching cord that allows you to snug it to fit your head. I cut it off, then cut it in half, and sewed it to the underside of the brim to make under chin straps. Now I'm stylin' for high winds.

The adjustable fit works great; One size fits all doesn't work for me. I needed a wide brim to be an effective rain hat. The look and quality are great. I'd like this hat even better if it had under the chin ties to keep it on in a stiff wind. I think that grommets either side of the crown could accommodate ties that would pull to either side, so the hat would still be reversable. I'll probably ask my shoe and luggage repair guy to modify my hat this way.
