Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt narrower than marked I like these boots because they are very comfortable and stylish. I bought a half size larger because I could not get them in wide width and they fit great. The only reason I am giving them 4 stars instead of 5 is because the syntheticleather-like material looks a litter cheap. I would love to have the same pair in real leather. Wears this shoe: to work

The description did give me the measurement and I measured my leg so I knew they would come up very high on my leg. But I love them and have bought two pairs!! Wears this shoe: Work, church, and when I go out so pretty much always!

They actually look a lot "sleeker" in real life than they do in the photos.The heel is a good height...not flat, not too high. I was able to wear them without breaking them in, which is unusual for me.I am on my feet for most of the work day. I am VERY picky about shoes and rarely buy online. I'm willing to suffer through an occasional night out in uncomfortable shoes, but I can't teach with aching feet! These look good and I can still walk without pain when the dismissal bell rings. The shaft is tall and contoured (sexy), the heel is sleek, but sturdy, and most important (for me)the toe is slightly "squared." The thick rubber sole makes these boots comfortable enough to wear all day long. I loved my new black boots so much that I bought a brown pair too! Wears this shoe: All day at work and running errands on the weekend.
