I have a professional job and must dress as such, but I am low enough on the food chain to have to run a lot of errands. These shoes are perfect for an office worker that needs to be able to walk across town without discomfort. I can even wear heavy wintersocks with these shoes, which is very valuable in the midwest. I own these in black faux leather and black fabric & wear them a least a few times a week.
